On Tuesday 11/06/19 along with a friend I went to Whispers Cafe & Bistro for an afternoon meal. It was a mild, dry, windy afternoon & the premises (ground floor) was about half-full. The cafe was clean, nicely decorated, well lit & the wooden table & chairs were also clean & comfortable. My friend ordered a special cheese & ham sandwich & I ordered an 8 oz rump steak (well done), chips, peas, mushrooms & tomato. We ordered 2 filter coffees to go with it. The coffees was served within 2-3 minutes & the meals about 10-12 minutes later. The filter coffees were okay, but the two meals were excellent, very tasty and delicious. We followed them with 1 bottle of coke & 2 more filter coffees. The staff were quick & attentive. There is an upstairs dining area, but we didn't go there. There is a single unisex toilet on the ground floor, which was very clean, including a disabled toilet seat, which wasn't fitted to the toilet plinth. , however, it didn't have a coventional toilet seat, so able-bodied patrons would also have to use the disabled seat provided. The total cost was just under £32.00, which we considered good value for the service & food...

Wow this place is buzzing, I went mid week in Eurovision's pre event festivities. The food was to die for, when we ordered our food with the very friendly waiter who we had a bit of funny banter with, we waited about 15 minutes for our food, in which we didnt mind as we could see it was very busy, in fact the waiter came out again and said to apologise for our wait, and we were offered a free drink on the house for our delay so we gladly agreed and had, The food when it came out was piping hot and well cooked with care and absolutely delicious, I could had eaten again given the the appetite, you could tell this was a place was gave good quality food, phenomenal customer service, I would strongly recommend this place to anyone to go to, when visiting Liverpool, we will...

From my last review this has dropped from 5 star to 2!

Breakfasts arrived 9 minutes apart. Mini breakfast Pouched egg on toast. 9 minutes between them? No apology for delay or reason why they were so far apart.

Coffee medium heat. Price of a can of coke is silly! Get nearly a pack of 6 from tesco express across the road for the same price. Cutlery arrived wet and tables sticky.

Staff talking about their personal lives whilst customers wait at tables.

Next table to us sent their breakfasts food back for being cold.

Such a shame. Staff have changed since my last visit few months back and character has gone. Previous staff were attentive and watched for customers needs.

Needs improvement given the rest of the options in...

We stopped in here for some breakfast while on holiday, I really like my full English so was looking forward to having a nice cooked breakfast, I will admit I was quite disappointed when I saw the size of the full english for nearly £10 I just thought it would have been bigger and fuller. My wife had the scrambled egg on toast and she said it was alright. The food came quickly so I couldn't fault them there and the waitress we had was accommodating and friendly, can't fault her professionalism. Would go back for a coffee and a slice of cake as they did look really nice, but wouldn't be back for breakfast, sorry guys.

First visit on Tuesday. Took my spaniels. The atmosphere in the cafe was so lovely. The staff were very friendly and all customers seemed happy to be there. Even my dogs picked up on the relaxed vibe and were very chilled. My scone and coffee were lovely - The coffee piping hot just as I like. There are some nice dog friendly cafes in Lytham but this has to be my favourite. I will be back

After trawling around for somewhere for lunch, we stopped here. Seating inside and outside, outside has a canopy. Cakes on display just a wee bit inside. Decent menu, breakfast served till 3pm. Specials board. Staff friendly and efficient. Food cooked fresh, club sandwich was good. Toast was excellent, and a great price. Toffee chino was great.
