We visited after the dogs had been locked up all day due to the outside temperature; they needed to let off some steam before they went to sleep.

Overall we had a great time but after 30 minutes three of our dogs realised there were horses in the next field. That combined with the lackluster fence meant we ended up leaving 15 minutes before our end time, it just wasn't enjoyable after that (we later found out that the horses being there was a temporary measure, hence the higher review).

The field is on a slant (good for their muscles) and there is a shelter with a bench if you want a rest. However, as mentioned above, the fence doesn't feel quite up to the task. If our dogs had wanted to they would have been over (or through!) it in seconds - the mesh of the fence is only 4ft but there is perimeter wire above. If you have big dogs I would not recommend this field for you!

You do need to travel through a few gates (that MUST be locked back again) to get to the field but it is very secure once you get there. The farm is used by others for housing horses so please be careful driving through.

Just to add, we won't be going back while the horses are in the next field (and the fence is like it is). If there are changes to the fence (taller and vision impairment for example) we will definitely...

Took Athena and Hector for first time to play. Both German shepards big and boisterous but Athena has some issues after been attacked by two dogs last year. It was nice to let them off lead and play safely knowing no one would pop up here and there so I could relax with then two. Great sized field with plenty of toys, smells for them to explore. Owner was lovely when contacted and apologised about the mud, dogs was not bothered loved it to be fair quick bath and they were as good as new and wipe of boots not a problem plenty there to wash dogs down after walk too so all good can't wait to take them again. Thank you from Athena and...

I normally use a doggy field in Yeadon but thought I’d give this one a try as it’s on my doorstep and whilst worried it wouldn’t be as good I shouldn’t have been! The dogs loved it, my normally terrified of everything German shepherd even had a play on the obstacles and sand pit! The facilities are great, it’s very secure and my 85 yr old grandad loved watching the planes come in and out! My only suggestion would be a bench in the field as I couldn’t see all angles for what the dogs were up to (or if they’d left me a present to pick up) from the hut but other than that -...
