Morgan Jones Park — Attraction in Caerphilly

With a central location and easy access, this well-kept park features a big playground for kids under 12, ample open space for playing games on the grass, and a football pitch, among other features. In the summer, there is a splash pad where kids can have fun and cool off in the ever increasing heat. A recent addition is a small concrete skatepark that seems to be well appreciated by local skaters, scooters and bmx cyclists.

The paths offer a lovely view of the park and are shaded by trees on either side which are fantastic for keeping the beating sun off or sheltering from the rain.

In all, Morgan Jones Park is a fantastic feature for young and old in the centre...

Lots of entertainment value here all year round. During the summer months the kids splash park is open. It's a revamped paddling pool of old put to better use. With safety non slip porous flooring. Great for hot summer days. Also has tennis courts, fenced football pitch and outdoor exercise machines. Bowling green for the local oldies and two football pitches on a pleasant setting with tree lined avenue walking paths. And, one of the best things is the old library. This was a small county library that has been converted into a great little coffee shop that's kid friendly. Seating area with a gated play area for kids. Great all round place in the heart...

Took my 2 grandsons to the playground. There are different sized climbing apparatus with slides for different ages. 2 different types of swings (babies and children). There's a roundabout(which needs oiling as it's very difficult to push). There are 3 wooden sheep and a wooden pig but sadly they are in a sorry state.... if only they had been painted regularly. Whilst the children enjoy the park, there are patches of mud which is very slippery. Running around as they do, they can slip. There are the cushioned 'tarmac' areas around the actual swings etc. which is very child friendly. I think it just needs a bit if a tidy up and a...
