Food used to be great here, have now found out a new owner, my god its bad! Started off fine, ordered quickly and starter arrived very fast! Garlic breaded mushrooms, expect the breaded bit was rock hard but was nice and hot. Not the greatest tasting though but the salad garnish was nice. Then the problems really started. We ordered the classic beef burger, which came with lettuce and tomato, served with chips and coleslaw and we added the onion rings. Chips were nice, onion rings were nice, but thats it. The burger was rock hard and when you did manage to bite into it, after allowing it to cool while eating the chips and onion rings. The burger was still that hot, i burnt the inside of my mouth. My fiancee also did, even though she'd cut it in half when it arrived. But the worst, absolute worst bit was the coleslaw. We didnt even try it because we could have got food poisoning from it. It looked as if it was left out for a few days and then attempted to make it look fresh. A piece of carrot had actually shrivelled up. When i went and complained, nothing was said of the coleslaw which was shocking but their response was our burgers are cooked to 82c, if it was only cooked to that, 5c higher than well done beef, then it wouldnt have burnt my mouth like it did. We cancelled the dessert and had a refund of the burgers and desert and had a mcflurry instead. Oh, and in the shandy all i could taste was line cleaner, which needless to say was off putting again. Save your money, dont go there and get food else where. Your likely to end up with food poisoning or just feeling ill!

Over the past couple of years this has become our regular for meeting up with friends and eating out. Simon, Matt, Holly and the rest of the staff are superb, nothing is ever too much trouble and they're very accommodating. Service is swift and I can honestly say I've not had a bad meal here in all my visits, which I can say is generally weekly at this point. The beer garden is a good size and the bar itself is quite spacious, dotted around the bar there are several large screen TV's to watch a variety of sports. In addition to the bar there is also a function room that can be hired for a multitude of events just ask at the bar for further details. At times it can be quite busy which is down to how popular this place is, but the staff work tirelessly to ensure that service is as efficient as it possibly can be and that their customers leave happy.

Two of us went to the Green Lady on a Thursday night for Dinner. Big Carpark at the rear but you have to pay for. The Pub was packed and we struggled to find a table. There are menus on the table with a good selection of typical Pub dishes such as burgers, steak, curry and fish and chips. Orders are placed via an app by scanning a code and entering the table number. We ordered chicken wings to share as a starter, gammon steak and surf and turf. The food was served to the table in a short time. The portions were very large and everything was fresh and hot. Everything tastes very good. The side dishes were also very tasty and plentiful. Because of the football match that was shown on the big TVs, the atmosphere in the pub was very good and lively. I can fully recommend this pub for a relaxed dinner.

Has pay and display parking for the car park, which is a bit annoying in this day and age. Booked a table for 2 in advance for food, and was initially sat in the bar area, requested to move to the restaurant side which was much quieter and appropriate for a table for 2, surprised we were not allocated a seat there initially, but staff were amazing and happily accommodated the request. No table service for the food, although there was more than enough staff to cater for it. Ordered the mega mixed grill and then a simple rump steak, medium rare, mixed grill was excellent, huge portions and great quality meat (for over £20 you would expect nothing less!) the steak how ever came out well done, fair play to the staff they came to check on us and was advised about the steak and it was supposed to be medium rare, they happily returned it to the kitchen and after about 10/15 minutes a new meal arrived, and the steak was sadly once again, cooked well done. Didn’t bother sending it back a second time and meal wasn’t eaten entirely. Big shame as the mixed grill steaks were smaller, but perfectly cooked. Staff were very good, one in particular, Liam who was extremely friendly and well mannered. A credit to the business. Has a really good selection of drinks and fairly priced, really nice venue both interior...

Very disappointed with our visit. Me and partner stopped here for lunch. I had the bean chilli with rice and my partner had the aubergine curry. My meal was only £6 with the option of adding a dessert for £2 as a deal. My meal was OK, nothing special but the portion size was ridiculous, not worth £6 at all. It stated on the menu that the curries are £6 on a Tuesday and are all served with a naan bread, poppadom, mango chutney and rice, unless stated otherwise. However, it was brought out with just rice. When I questioned the waitress her answer was "that's because it's vegan so it comes served with fresh rocket" although there was no rocket on the plate, not a big deal but just feel we were fobbed off with that answer,as it was not stated otherwise on the menu. We finished our food and the waitress cleared the dishes from the table. I thought they would wait 5-10 mins then bring the dessert. However, after about 20 mins they hadn't brought it so I went up the the bar to ask. All 3 staff members were just stood around chatting, which is fair enough as it was quiet, but it shouldn't mean people are left waiting. The reason for 2 stars is that the food wasn't bad and the dessert was nice. However, we won't be returning here in a hurry, will stick to the...
