If you're looking for a great outdoor space to explore in Halifax, Manor Heath Park is definitely worth a visit. This park offers a wonderful mix of spaciousness, natural beauty, and well-maintained facilities that are sure to make it a hit with visitors of all ages.

One thing that really stood out to me during my visit to Manor Heath Park was the park's beautiful scenery and greenery. The park is filled with lush trees and plants, and the open spaces offer plenty of room to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. Whether you're looking to take a leisurely stroll, have a picnic, or just enjoy some fresh air, Manor Heath Park is the perfect place to do it.

Another great thing about Manor Heath Park is that it's well-maintained. The facilities are clean and in good condition, making it easy to enjoy everything the park has to offer without any worries. I especially enjoyed visiting this park as a child, as there were plenty of activities to keep me entertained, from playgrounds to sports fields.

All in all, if you're looking for a great outdoor space to explore in Halifax, Manor Heath Park is definitely worth a visit. With its nice, spacious layout, beautiful scenery, and well-maintained facilities, it's the perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon with family...

Lovely gem of a park around the corner from Calderdale Royal Hospital. It has a Butterfly House within the park and a pond, woodland perimeter walks, play area, paddling/splash pool, formal gardens and open spaces. Takes our old Staffy a good 30 minutes to walk around the woodland footpath which follows around 3 sides of the park. But you can easily spend a couple of hours here with children including visiting the butterfly house. There's a café and sometimes there's an ice cream van. Beware toilets are horrible metal ones costing 20p(last time I went), we visit McDonald's toilets FREE about ½ a mile away at the bottom of Salterhebble hill. (hence 4*) There are sometimes events held at the park too like the RSPCA dog show in the summer. There is free parking on roadside parking areas but only at weekends, during the week I believe 8am - 6pm it's Pay & Display. There is a very small free carpark. Other roads nearby are resident permit holders only. Bus 503 537 between Huddersfield - Halifax stops within a 10 minute walk at the Calderdale...

Manor Heath Park is a great place to bring your children, we enjoyed the rainforest experience and the babies got to see some lovely animals. They had a nice walk around the flower garden and then went and played in the giant park.

It's very cheap, lots of entertainment and all the staff seem to be very friendly. The parks and entertainment areas was all very clean and not a single bit of rubbish on the floor. I couldn't recommend this place enough for someone looking for a cheap fun day out.

No matter if your drive or take public transport it's easy to get to they have a nice big area to park as well as street parking very close and there is bus stops all around the area for people to use from far and wide.

The restaurant had scrumptious meals and lots of selections for snacks and somthing to drink no matter your age. Eveything was well priced and made so you don't have to spend a fortune...

We came here for a 5k run with Joe Wicks. Its a lovely park, including toilets, walled gardens, paddling pool, kids playpark, outdoor gym and tropical jungle experience. There's also apparently a cafe, however, this wasn't open when we visited. The paddling pool is great for kids with streams and water features such as taps to aid water play. The kids parks include lots of different equipment and there's also outdoor gym equipment too. The tropical jungle experience is great for a quid each (young kids free). There's fish, terrapins, butterflies and tropical plants. Not massive, but for £1 you can't complain. There's also an ice-cream van that sets up near the park, lots of flowers, plenty of picnic benches and loads of grass space. Recommend visiting this park.
