Kirk Lea — Hotel in Calderdale

This is a lovely place to stay in terms of location. There are beautiful scenes near by, friendly neighbourhood and friendly staff.

The WiFi was good, good signal and speed. The breakfast was good. The rooms had central heating. The TV was rubbish, but had some standard channels.

My room was tiny, but cheap. There was little room to do anything, so no press ups (if in to that thing). However I believe there are bigger. The staff were friendly, flexible and polite. They made you feel welcome (credit to them).

Parking is a pain. Essentially 3 permits seven rooms. You basically are lucky if you can park here. There is free two hours in peak times (due to local hospital). However there is a sneaky spot to park in (which some staff use).

No shops in the immediate area. Up a hill, a little hard to get to as you can't get there by going up the hill, due to no right turn.

Lovely stone work near by, check it out.

Can’t express how impressed I am with the service here! Phoned them soon as they opened and offered me a room with in 10 minutes due to the circumstances ... let us come and go as we pleased which was brilliant as was at the hospital and needed to be accessible! I can not recommend this place enough , perfect staff and very understanding ! Even gave us a permit so we didn’t have to pay hospital car park charges which was fantastic as we was doing a lot of trips to the station .. I can not recommend this...
