Compass Gardens — Attraction in Chelmsford

A very ideal park when exploring the other places of Chelmsford.

In every green area, there are many parts where you can have picnics, play games & have dog walks, you can even do anything on the soccer grounds & even displays like big anchors.

You can find a smooth skate park, just like in Central Park. And there is a basketball area, although it is aged but you do not have to replace it - keep it till its had it.

It seems every park needs a park gym & we have a full set where you can break record's for how long you run. And, that was a very perfect playground which has everything like bouncers, roundabouts, swings, jungle gym & a zip wire.

A pathed gardens that also backs onto Saltcoats playing fields. Its popular with parents and young children on their bicycles. Also fine for people to walk around. There are planted wooded areas too.

Nearby Saltcoats has child play equipment and there is also a skate park which is popular with older children and teenagers.

Saltcoats itself has several football and rugby pitches as well as a cricket field and pavilion. The whole park backs onto fens with paths that lead to the river Crouch.

Love taking my daughter here to get some fresh air, play in the park or walk around the fields which have easy access to the rive banks nearby.
