I usually drive to get a Indian take away from Mayland, but thought I’d retry pink garlic. Had the chicken tikka Balti jalfrazi, chicken tikka massala, plain rice, garlic naan, sag paneer.
My thoughts are:
The chicken was fresh tasting and soft. So many Indians in Woodham are dry and reheated. So plus points there!!
Overall, dishes were tasty. However, left me feeling groggy in the morning, so have a feeling the dishes have msg and/or other rubbish in them.
Why, is a tikka massala and the chicken bright red? I have no idea why they do this. Food colouring I think. There is no need for it.
People nowadays are more conscious on what they are eating, so move with times, be fresh and clean, and you will get more business!!

Read moreThis is by far the worst Indian takeaway I've ever encountered. I'm not sure what the bilge they sent was, maybe mashed chickpeas with chicken chucked in, not sure. I ordered a chicken tikka jalfrezi and the wife a chicken balti. What turned up was two lots of the same garbage, the jalf having a chilli thrown in for good measure.
