Village Super — Attraction in Cherwell District

Whilst I’m happy to have an Asian supermarket so close by, plus they have recently expanded their product choice, the prices/mark up is disproportionately high compared to other places. For example, a packet of instant Nissin ramen noodles is £1, whereas you can go to tescos just over the road where they sell it for 65p. The fresh food concessions are tasty. The pineapple bun pork sandwich takes me back to Hong Kong.

Whilst the range has expanded from when I first moved here 9 months ago, I wouldn’t do my whole Asian supermarket shopping here, more out of convenience than anything else. I’d still travel to go to Milton Keynes as the petrol to get there would be less than...

This isn't an Asian supermarket. This is what a posh white person who shops in Waitrose thinks an Asian supermarket is. It's all style over substance.

They stock shockingly few products given the large floor space, and everything is hugely expensive.

There are almost no bulk products- where is the litre of soy sauce for under £3.50 that proper Asian supermarkets have? Where are the 20 different types of noodles? Where are the 20kg bags of rice?

While drinking my boba🥰. Decided to check out local Chinese supermarket and write this review. I usually visit place when i want to try something different. And I always leave satisfied. I usually end up with some unheard drink in my basket.😁 Place definitely deserves more attention. Stock diversity IS on low side for size of shop, but for me there is still plenty product to explore different cultures cuisine for long time. Store offers considerable amount of kitchenware as well.
