My extreme disappointment and frustration regarding my recent visit to La Tua Pasta located within Bicester Village. My experience at this establishment has left me deeply dissatisfied, and I feel compelled to bring this matter to your attention.

Yesterday, I walked into La Tua Pasta and requested a reservation for a party of seven at the reception. The staff member, after taking my phone number, informed me that there would be a wait time of 35 to 45 minutes and assured me that I would receive a text message when a table became available. After waiting for exactly 35 minutes, I received a text notifying me of an available table. I promptly made my way to the restaurant, where I was led to a table meant for three people. The staff member ordered me to have my family members arrive within five minutes, even though I had explicitly booked a table for seven. When I pointed out this discrepancy, she not only refused to apologize but also offered two unacceptable solutions: squeezing five people onto a four-person table, leaving the remaining two people standing, or having our entire party of seven rejoin the queue.

The staff's attitude was unapologetically arrogant and condescending throughout this interaction. Despite the fact that there were clearly vacant tables within the restaurant, I was denied proper seating, and the blame was shifted onto me. Furthermore, one staff member suggested that if I did not accept their proposed solutions, our group of seven should leave the restaurant. I found this behavior to be completely unacceptable and disrespectful.

This incident has left me feeling deeply distressed and has significantly impacted my emotional well-being. I cannot help but wonder if this treatment is due to the fact that we are of Asian descent. Is this a case of racial discrimination? I have been in the UK for an extended period of time and have never encountered such disrespectful treatment. Moreover, having been a frequent customer of Bicester Village, I have always appreciated the excellent service provided by the staff at various stores within the complex. However, the presence of such a subpar restaurant like La Tua Pasta casts a negative shadow on the entire Village, affecting the overall experience for visitors like myself.

I have taken the liberty to reach out to the management of Bicester Village directly to express my concerns about the impact of such an establishment on the Village's reputation. I urge the management team to consider whether supporting a restaurant with such low standards aligns with the Village's commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences. This incident has the potential to significantly diminish the service quality and deter customers from choosing Bicester Village as their shopping and dining...

I had a very bad experience last week. They prepared a table for 6 persons but only with 5 chairs. I was standing for over a minute but no one notice why I was standing there or may be the staff not really care. I asked a staff who passed by to provide me a chair and then he passed me a chair. I really don't expect the service level like this. After that, I started to make order, most of the dishes that I can try to pronounce them, but three of them I really don't know how to read them correctly. I used 3 fingers to pointed to 3 different dishes on the menu and said these three, the staff repeated them quite fast and I thought he got me. Finally they came out 3 same dishes of one of our choices and I told the waitress they made mistake and she took the 2 same dishes back. After a moment, the staff (the one who took order for us) brought the 2 same dishes back on the table. He told me he already repeated the order and I asked him whether they are forcing me to eat all of them. I was quite angry for his service for bringing the dishes back again and I requested to talk with manager. The manager showed up and asked me whether the staff repeat or not repeated the order. I said yes but definitely I did say these three , not 3 of these. The manager never feel sorry about the misunderstanding and I showed her how I make the order before. The manager said the way I make the order is not appropriate and taught me how to make a order. This manager said I made mistake and I felt this is very dis-respectful. Finally she helped me to re-order. Well, the food quality is not a problem but the service is totally a mess. The problem is the staff and the manager don't know what is their problems. Hope the top management can do something about this. Anyway, I will never go back to this restaurant and I will tell all of my friends through all social media not to come here as it...

Went yesterday to book a table and met with a very nasty stuck up asian lady who was working on the front desk of the entrance. I missed the sign that said to wait outside considering it was heavy rain and a little busy. I went inside only to be treated like an animal told to get out and cant i read the sign, shouted at in front of other customers who were dining. I apologised for not seeing this and was ushered out like a dog. The lady then ignored my existence and proceeded to ask other people who was next, considering these people were not there before as there was no queue when i went in to query. It doesn't take alot to be kind and I'm completely disgusted by this lady's attitude she didn't need to behave in such a degrading manner. She needs training on customer service: how to talk to people and clearly how to be a human being. Because of her i will not be going here as i dont need to be treated like that. For reference she was a slim south asian looking female with dark mid length hair. Please either fire her or train her. You lost a potential customer because of her bad attitude and clearly no customer service skills.

Further to the above, an update. After reading the previous reviews there is most certainly a racism issue with this place. This lady may have been asian looking but doesn't mean she can't be racist to her own and other colour. As an asian person i was treated like dirt the other people she spoke to with care were white.

Also what I find ridiculous is how many people they have responded to on here backing up their staff making out that the customer was wrong. If you carry on taking the side of your employees wrong doing then expext nothing to be done about it and the problem to persist, giving the restaurant a further bad name. A shame on this restaurant for supporting...

Pros: I'll start with the positives as I was looking forward to breaking my fast at this restaurant but was unfortunately disappointed by the cons. Shout out to the interior designer, a good take on a mid-market Italian restaurant, fairly reasonably priced (considering the location) and finally the culinary equipment i.e. use of old fashioned tea pots etc... Cons: 1. Taking reservation details to come back in 30 minutes, for us to then qué up with people that didn't have a booking and then giving a family of 5 a table ahead of us because he was recommended by another member of staff to the manager 2. 2x tables after us being seated on a larger tables suitable for food, when we're given a small table (suitable for drinks) right next to the door, with 3 people kicking my shoes/shopping bags because of the table we were seated in being in the way of the exit 3. The pizza being served with vegetables that weren't even grilled and served first (despite being forewarned it would be late) 4. The starters being forgotten about and then when being raised with multiple waitresses and finally the manager (giving attitude) that they came 15 minutes late after the pizza 5. No offer of salt and pepper, or chilli oil for the pizza All in all - Cecconis is better. This place has the potential to be better, however serious need to change management, as a restaurant's service, decorum and sticking to the authentic recipes is run by leadership

We visit Bicester Shopping Village at least once a year, and always at Christmas time to buy my wife her annual Villeroy and Boch ornament. We've eaten at all of the restaurants/ cafes at one time or another, I just fancied pasta on the day and as we walked out of V&B there was this advertisement for La Tua Pasta. We went in on spec; we were seated straight away, very lucky, as shortly afterwards they were maxed out. Service was with a smile, the waiter explained all of the pasta was made in house and fresh that morning. My wife has a small appetite and ordered the pecorino filled dough balls with crispy kale starter. I have to say, they were delicious (I was actually allowed half of one!). They were cooked to perfection and the crispy kale was a delight to compliment the dish. In my mind I fancied a tuna dish before going in to La Tua, there was no tuna on the menu but they did have a Crab mousse filled black tortellini. These came beautifully cooked, bursting to the seams, literally, with crab mousse, and plenty of tortellini. It was the most expensive dish on the menu, it did not disappoint. La Tua is by far the best restaurant, in my opinion, at Bicester Village. If you like Italian food, you should definitely give La Tua a try. They do pizza as well, and looking at other diners pizzas, they looked delicious too. We will definitely be returning on our next visit to Bicester.

**La Tua Pasta: A Culinary Delight in Bicester Village** Nestled amidst the charming outlets of Bicester Village, La Tua Pasta stands out as a culinary gem. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and led to a table of our choosing, despite the restaurant being bustling on a Sunday afternoon. The menu offers a tantalizing array of Italian dishes, including pizzas, pasta, and indulgent desserts. For our meal, we opted for a classic pizza and a hearty vegetable lasagna, accompanied by crispy fries. Each dish was a masterpiece, crafted with fresh ingredients and exceptional flavours. The ambiance of La Tua Pasta is equally impressive. The restaurant's elegant décor and cosy atmosphere create a relaxing and intimate setting. The impeccable cleanliness and well-maintained facilities add to the overall dining experience. The service was exemplary, with our waitress providing an exceptional level of attention and care. Her impeccable customer service skills and friendly demeaner made our meal even more enjoyable. In conclusion, La Tua Pasta is a must-visit for anyone seeking a superb dining experience in Bicester Village. The delectable cuisine, inviting ambiance, and exceptional service make it a true gastronomic destination. Highly recommended!
