Whitelands Farm Sports Ground — Attraction in Cherwell District

We booked the function room for a children's first birthday party on Sunday. We had booked the room from 10am with a plan to set up and have guests arrive at 11. We arrived and the children's entertainer we hired couldn't get in the room to set up. The poor young lad who obviously only worked weekends was frantically trying to get hold of a key holder to let us enter the room to set up and after 25 minutes we eventually got in. The function room was littered with confetti and random party food crumbs from a party the night before. As our party will have many babies present a clean floor was important to us. So as well as set up food, tables and decorations we had to clean as well. Apparently despite it being 10.30 at this time the staff "hadn't had time to clean up" . A really good standard of sports facility. The pitches are astro turf, floodlit and fenced. Worth noting that only recommend footwear is allowed in the playing surface. No wheels allowed (pushchairs, scooters, bikes and the like). Lots of parking but it can still get very busy. A really good clubhouse, coffee shop, bar and restaurant on site with function room...

Fantastic facilities....if you are able to use them, that is !!! Went there for a walking football tournament and went into the centre to get changed and was told the changing rooms were not in use. I had to get changed either outside or in the lobby area . Why have a wonderful facility but then don't let your customers use them... Ridiculous😡The 3g pitch is...
