East Wittering Beach — Attraction in Chichester

Great surf and what people never know about wittering is you can surf it all through the tide !!! Just keep walking towards west . I call it berry barn but the surf spot is just in front of Debbie’s horse stables , near the private estate at cakeham road . Generally we all park up at Howard’s avenue just next to jolliff road and we walk down to it . So have no fear people , you can ALWAYS surf this beach through out the tides , you just have to brave and venture out abit . If you park at jollif road it’s a ten minute walk to the beach where you can surf at high tide . Happy days :)

Although stoney when the tide is up, mid- to low tide reveals wonderful golden sand. This beach is clean, safe and family-friendly. Children shall love climbing on the breakwaters. By utilising residential roads only a very short distance away, parking is free and without time limit (but arrive early at weekends!). East Wittering Beach is only a short walk from the dunes of West Wittering where free parking is non-existant. Also, East Wittering offers a selection of useful, day-to-day shops.
