This exceptional establishment, situated just a stone’s throw from the serene shoreline of East Wittering Beach, offers a truly memorable dining experience. From the moment one arrives, the ambience exudes warmth and conviviality, thanks in no small part to the exceptionally welcoming and attentive staff whose courteous demeanor enhances the overall atmosphere.

The culinary offerings are of a remarkably high standard, with both pricing and portion sizes reflecting outstanding value. During my visit, I opted for “The American” — a sumptuous double chicken burger adorned with melted cheese and crisp lettuce. The chicken itself was of superb quality: tender, succulent, and evidently prepared with care. The lettuce contributed a refreshing crunch, adding an enjoyable contrast in texture to each bite. My sole critique — albeit minor — would be the absence of any sauce. A subtle touch of mayonnaise or a complementary dressing would have elevated the burger to an even more distinguished level.

The accompanying chips were reminiscent of those traditionally served in classic British fish and chip establishments — generously thick, golden, and exquisitely soft within. The onion rings, which arrived alongside the burger, were nothing short of delightful. Encased in a light, golden batter that seemed to dissolve effortlessly on the tongue, they provided a perfect accompaniment to the main dish.

In summary, I would most emphatically recommend this restaurant to anyone journeying toward the Witterings. It is a gem on the Sussex coast, combining high-quality fare with a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. I fully intend to return in the near future and very much look forward...

A bit of context for this review, we visited on the Sunday of the August bank holiday weekend, so the restaurant was very, very busy!! So much so that there wasnt just one, but two queues, one to eat in the garden, one to eat inside. That being said, the queues were well managed and we only had to wait maybe 15 minutes to be seated. The tables are fairly snug, we squeezed teo adults and two children in. Colouring crayons were supplied for the children to share and separate menus for adults and children. I would describe the menus as usual pub grub with some additional seafood selections, as would be expected at a seaside town. Prices were very reasonable, two children's and two adult meals, all drinks (including alcoholic) and two desserts all came to about £58. The portions were huge!!! The seafood salad pictured came with chips! There was so much my husband took a doggy bag home with him. The food was of good quality too and it was served quickly, despite the staff being run off their feet. One thing I would like to say is the restaurant was so well managed! Every member of staff knew exactly what their role was and performed them courteously. The restaurant was a well oiled machine! Be warned you can't book, so be prepared to queue on busy days, but well worth the wait for a...

What a find. While on a weekend break with my family we was looking for place to eat and stumbled upon this gem if you are staying at scotts farm or east wittering like we was you have to visit this place.

Top marks for service and child freindly childrens cutlery and lids on childrens drinks what a great idea its the little things like that go a long way to happy kids and parents .

Food was fantastic i can without a doubt say it was the best steak and kidney pie i have had in my life and there was plenty of meat inside the pie. My wife and kids meals all equally as amazing. Decent fish fingers and good kids portion of cod the kids were in heaven.

To add to this they even sell london pride. We really wanted to stay for pudding as they looked fantastic seeing others being taken to tables but the kids were being kids. Even when the bill came there was a treat.

This is probably one of the best places to eat i have been in a long time. The atmosphere was fantastic it was buzzing allways a good sign and the staff were a1. Great for familys very reasonably priced and the service was top. They even do take aways.

Thank you Boulevard we...

Looking for a great place to eat in East Wittering? Look no further…The Boulevard and it’s team delivered an exceptional dining experience this evening, for us, a family of 5 on holiday in the area. Such an amazing meal - simple food, well-presented, delicious and generous portions. We ordered 2 Cod and salad, Grilled haddock, the New York burger and a beef lasagne….everything was superb! The meals were all extremely filling and even though we had little place for dessert, we still opted to share the decadent homemade Banoffee crunch on offer and some ice cream options …we were not disappointed! Glorious desserts…other tables were ordering some of the amazing looking sundaes! Lots of choices! Hats off to the whole Boulevard team, especially the barman who served up some delicious cocktails and the hard working waiters and waitresses who were busy with the dinner rush …it was Saturday early dinner time. Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area craving a great meal.

Been here plenty of times... mostly been good. This time our cup of tea was served...thinking the teabag may have slipped into the cup...we added a splash of milk. Dug around with a spoon to fine no teabag. Basically the weakest brew ever. Not an issue...we asked for another teabag. Problem solved 👍🏼 What did astonish us was the ridiculous price of two tiny sauce pot size tunas...we requested to go with our baked potatoes. £4.30 each.....or £9.60 for the two....only 40 pence less than the complete dish of baked potato, cheese, beans, salad & coleslaw (£10)...see photo of receipt. Seriously over priced/charged...for the tuna. We asked the waitress about the charge...she said..."I don't make the prices" We left....this is why we're leaving this feedback. Not sure if we'll return. Shame because overall, great food....but crazy pricing on extra/side orders😵‍💫🥴🤯😢 Be warned ♥️🙏🏼

I have been here several times now. I often eat here when I visit Wittering. Every time, I am impressed by the hugely generous portions and value for money. The duck spring rolls had a good crunch and were fresh, though the filling could have contained more meat. The steak and chips were very good. The steak was cooked well and the chips were chunky and hot as usual. It was accompanied by a side salad and some onion rings. A real comfort dish and a guilty pleasure! And a little smartie cookie to finish. Despite the food served here mainly being your classic cafe and pub food, there is a greater emphasis than at other places on homemade, which noticeably makes it taste better. This is a good place for a big lunch or dinner after a long time at the beach!
