A brilliant day of airsoft at a really good site... Approx 200 players attended but didn't feel overcrowded once as the site is so big with plenty of angles to shoot from... The marshalls were pretty decent and kept everyone in check fairly, on the day there was a lot of proper shooters and only a few lames who didnt call.. The setup area was spread over 2 floors and was full up when we arrived 20 mins after the doors opened😮, but we still found a space for the 3 of us that could make the 3hr trip... There was a well stocked airsoft shop selling all the usual aswell as plate carriers, batteries, rifs, pouches, mags, bb, etc etc, crisps, drinks & chocolates. There was a smoking area just outside the entrance to the setup area, and most importantly there was free tea & coffee with a burco hot water urn. Oh theres also a cafe just by the carpark area thatll seat approx 30-40...but the wait for the people who ordered was excruciating.. I saw people who were like 10th in line getting their burgers 45 minutes after ordering, as the marshall came in to say they were restarting the games... I sat in there eating my packed lunch waiting for a mate who got a jacket potato and had to end up leaving it until next mag up break.. No disrespect to the cafe owners but i think they were under prepared for the amount of customers who turned up... They had everything except a timely service😔... The car park area was good enough for approx 80-100 cars... Maybe more, and was literally 2 mins walk from the entrance over the moat and into the jail... Chrono was quick and efficient, the photographer was brilliant, the games were well planned and executed for so many players.. And you could hop into a convoy vehicle and shoot out,/from the top of if you could find a space.. My second UCAP site and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Make sure you check there site rules before you visit as they do have some specific rules that catch people out... Like shoes, drums, 2 tone, Rifs no Ifs! Rifs with stocks Etc.. Hpa, gbb, aeg all allowed, pyro and smoke aallowed but no smoke in the red spectrum inc orange as they are right on the coast and the coast guard will hand you back...
