Istanbul Kebab House — Restaurant in Dover

Absolutely delicious food, and very well-priced! We were visiting Dover the other week and sort of stumbled across Istanbul Kebab House as we were hunting for fish and chips. There is a sign on the restaurant that says fish and chips, which is a bit misleading as fish and chips are not on the menu (perhaps the sign is outdated?). But my father-in-law (who I've concluded has a sixth sense for good hole-in-the-wall restaurants) got the family value meal (a huge platter of lamb and beef doner and chicken kebabs, soft pitas, salad, choice of two sauces, and a 2 liter of soda) for 30 quid, and we split it between four of us. It was some of the best food I've ever had, and although we ate it all in one sitting I think we could have easily made two meals out of the meat! My mouth is watering now just thinking about it. Came in after busy day, ordered food I think it is under new management, first we had to wait 45 minutes for the order, they don't know how to communicate, we ordered 2 sets off chicken wings asked for grilled ones, kofta kebab, and chicken tikka, but when food come, he forgot the 1 set of wings, the other set came all fried with extra thick coating, when the 2nd set off wings came they where also dried and burnt, the kofta was burnt, and forget to add the chicken tikka on, when my husband asked he said we are liars, what a disgusting customer service, he started shouting. I also run a business customers come first. There attitude is disgraceful. They need to do some customer service course, me and my husband walked out without eating the food. Absolutely disgusting!!! I wouldn’t even feed this food to my dog if I had one! This was food sent for my brother and family to break their fast. Food was 35mins late. It couldn’t be anymore charred! When I called they said it was not burnt. They said they would resend the food out. They did not! My brother went to the shop and they instead shouted at my brother and insisted that the food was fine. They did not give refund or replacement. This is absolutely disgusting.
