Description
Dyserth Waterfall is a waterfall in Dyserth, North Wales. The River Ffyddion, a tributary of the River Clwyd, falls down a 70-foot ledge creating the waterfall. In the 1880s, mining in the area caused it to dry up, however when the mining stopped, the waterfall resumed its full flow.

"Rhaeadr Waterfall" and is one of the most stunning natural attractions in Wales. It's truly a magnificent sight! Here's a review you can use, highlighting its key features: Pistyll Rhaeadr: A Majestic Welsh Gem Pistyll Rhaeadr is more than just a waterfall; it's an experience that captivates the senses and leaves a lasting impression. Nestled in the tranquil Berwyn Mountains, this majestic cascade, often referred to simply as "Rhaeadr Waterfall," is one of Wales' most impressive natural wonders, and for good reason. From the moment you arrive, the sheer scale and power of the water are breathtaking. Plunging 240 feet (73 meters) in three stages, with a unique natural arch carving through its middle section, it truly feels like a place of raw, untamed beauty. The sound of the water tumbling down is a constant, soothing roar that instantly creates a sense of peace and awe. Accessibility here is a huge plus. You can park incredibly close to the base of the falls, making it easy for everyone to enjoy the magnificent view from the footbridge. This is the perfect spot for photos, where you can feel the spray on your face and truly appreciate the force of nature. For those who enjoy a walk, the path to the top of the waterfall is a rewarding, albeit steep, climb. It takes around 20 minutes, and while it gets the heart pumping, the views on the ascent and from the summit are well worth the effort. Standing at the top, peering over the edge where the water begins its dramatic descent, offers a completely different perspective and a thrilling sense of scale. You can also explore smaller pools and streams upstream, adding to the adventure. The surrounding area is equally beautiful, with lush woodlands and the rugged Berwyn Mountains offering ample opportunities for further exploration. There's also a charming tea room, Tan-y-Pistyll ("little house under the waterfall"), right by the car park, perfect for a warming drink and a bite to eat with a view of the falls. Pistyll Rhaeadr is a truly enchanting spot, a place where you can connect with nature, find tranquility, and witness the raw power of water. Whether you're seeking a short, impactful visit or a longer day of hiking, this Welsh gem delivers an unforgettable experience. On...

I have been coming here for over 23 years me and my children who are now adults. Came across on 30th December in the 2000 there was a Christmas tree out side a memorie tree. I had card, sellotape and a pen and we wrote there nans name on it who was in #stlukeshospise #winsfordcheshire it was a donation of #20p at the #waterfall we called it #angelfalls because it came into our lives with such beauty. There nan passed the next day on #newyearseve she always said #Christmas was for kids and #newyears was for #adults so it was the perfect day for her. This #beautiful #waterfall came into our path wonder, closeness, amazement, love, nature, sad, + hope. I have never in all these years been up the stairs and over the waterfall because of my #health I have only ever stayed ground level. I don't feel or never felt like I missed out. My #disability stopped me going up. From the first time. I never felt I need or wonted to the #waterfall and #waterspray is enough #blessings for me. I really feel this is a...

We visited the waterfalls at short notice and found it to be well worth the visit.

Free car park next door, public conveniences available and £1 entry (via cash donation posted into the honesty box letterbox by the gate). Well worth it to help with the upkeep and maintenance of the area.

We had a short visit, viewed the falls and then took the walk up the steps to the top. It's a shame that you only get to see the stream feeding the falls and not the top of the falls themselves.

We then went further up to the public footpath and then returned to the car park that way.

The only downer was the Cafe/Tea Room next to the falls which does everything it can to disassociate itself from the actual waterfalls.

Why call yourself the 'Waterfalls Cafe and Tea Room' and have a 'Waterfalls Shop' if you're nothing to do with it?? Very strange indeed and from other reviews somewhere that...

Went to see the Waterfall but there is much more. The waterfall is very easy to access as it is within metres of the entrance next to the ice cream shop. There is an honest box with a £1 per person fee to access the falls. It has a very small car park holding around 10 cars, there is also some street parking available. There is a nice picnic area with tables just within the gate. Follow the steps up to the top to get views out towards the sea. The steps then lead you down to the stream within the trees. Here there is a bridge but if you carry straight alongside the water you'll come to a rock face. Within this are some caves/tunnels that you can climb through, just make sure you have walking boots as they can be a bit slippery to get into. They are fairly low and dark, we used the torch on our phones (see the video). There are other paths through the trees, so a good place to have an explore.
