Seaton Hole Beach is a fairly short pebble beach. At the eastern end of the beach are rocks leading down most of the way to the water. The western end of the beach taper to a rocky headland covered with trees and with a crumbling chalk cliff overhead. The inland edge of the beach is supported with large rocks, below crumbling cliff faces. Access to the beach is via a steep-ish path with steps. There are lots of signs warning of the danger of unstable cliffs. Seaton becomes inaccessible from Seaton Hole beach, at high tide. Read moreIf you walk from Beer to Seaton along the Coastal Path you will have Two options as you approach Seaton. The first is to continue straight ahead on a nice downward slope to Seaton. Or alternatively turn right and take a steep downhill path to Seaton Hole Beach. There you have a nice scenic walk along a shingle beach to Seaton Promenade. Be advised though that it can be quite hard going walking along the pebbles.
