What a little gem. After a not so easy walk to the very end of Seaton's stony beach and a steep climb up the cliff, I came across this perfect little tea cabin. (There is a road along the top and plenty of street parking though). The menu is diverse with plenty of choice from cakes and ice cream, to full meals with chips. Before long, a non-slip tray was presented to me where I was sitting, with a brie and cranberry toasted sandwich on granary bread with an Earl Grey tea. It came with a crispy fresh salad too. The views of the cliffs are spectacular with a view through the tall pine trees the other way for miles along the Coast. There's a choice of benches and picnic tables dotted around the sloping grassy areas. With all that and an extremely friendly service, I quickly realised that this was going to be one of my most favourite destinations for many future...

Have been to this café ever since it opened and it has always been excellent in every regard. The food is fabulous - truly delicious homemade cakes, cookies, other snacks, good quality teas, coffees and soft drinks of various kinds etc. and / or you can have a 'light bite' lunch - various baps, paninis, baguettes etc. Lee and Julie are so friendly, easy to chat with and always provide an efficient service. All the tables are outside, with parasols to keep the sun - or rain - off! The location is perfect too, nicely 'hidden away' so quiet and relaxing, and right next to the coastal path to Beer and just up the steps from Seaton Hole beach. Can't fault it! You'd be mad to miss it! Opening hours are seasonal but 10am til 4pm at time of...

This has to be the best place for breakfast, lunch, cakes etc in the area. Everything is cooked perfectly and fresh, using quality produce. There's a great selection of breakfast baps, cold sandwiches, toasties, all the cakes are homemade, icecreams are a generous serving. Our favourites are the breakfast special (see pic), bacon bap, brie and bacon toastie, homemade cinnamon fruit loaf, scones, coffee and walnut cake and brownies. Basically, it's all good! The service is amazing, super efficient and very friendly, we come every year for a 2 week holiday and they remember us and what we have. A must visit if you're...

Well worth a visit especially if you have made the coastal walk from Beer. There is a good range of savoury and sweet snacks available with some gluten free options. The coffee was good and served in 100% recyclable and compostable mugs. There is a good selection of tradional ice creams and a choice of dairy free ones too. The views are stunning, the service helpful and friendly. Definitely a 5 star place. At present the nearby toilets are owned by the council but it is the owners of the snack bar who have made themselves responsible for their upkeep.

Every seaside town should have a cafe like this - immaculately clean, freshly cooked food and masses of homemade cakes, sandwiches, treats and extras, plus kids and veggie options. Add in delightful, cheerful owners (who have even taken over the decrepit ex council toilets and tidied them up) plus the most amazing views and this is a must-see spot for your holiday. Walk up from the coastal path or drive down, it’s worth every penny and one of the best cafes we’ve ever visited. And we love a good breakfast, so we’re experts 😁
