Martello Park — Attraction in East Suffolk

This is right next to the beach on one side. From one end to another end there are playground for kids with swings-slides and water fountain, small Icecream kiosk, coffee shop. Also public toilets and the doors are painted in bright colours.

There's a field full of yellow Fennel flowers. For the first time in my life I get to see the fennel seeds and the yellow flowers which is also the seeds.

In the middle of the field is the tower which is now a coast guard station.

Next to to the tower there's a massive area for picnic and other activities.

One coach full of 49people went there as a day tour to enjoy the day.

We made the area to be our picnic area. We all had lunch there and also prayed Zuhr and Asr. No one batted an eye and the people were so cool. in the afternoon we had activities. Competition also took place. The area was not that crowded and plenty of people all...

Great place to come with the kids with lots of space for them to run around. There are a variety of play apparatus for the kids to explore. There are picnic benches dotted around, so it's a nice spot for a lunch break.

The downside of the park is that it is closely overlooked by the row of houses. I could hear people talking in their houses while sat at the picnic table so they can probably hear kids screaming with joy all day.

It's also a great place for Pokemon Go as there are two gyms at the park and lots of Pokestops, we always seem to find new Pokemon here with over 1000 cp.

Great fun for all the family and all ages, cleverly designed to cater from the smallest toddlers toto teens with slides, roundabouts, monkey bars and everything inbetween and it's all free. Close to the amenities with new buildings curretly under construction you can walk to the far end of this park for small refreshments and ice creams. Also where the larger play apparatus can be found for the older members of the family. Not more than a stones throw away is the beach and sea for a fun packed day out that can cost as little as you choose or often nothing.
