This is a really lovely location, sea front views in a super modern building! There is a Children’s play area next door and nice sea walk for afterwards! We stopped for a light lunch & food was of a high quality with a super quick friendly service! They had a good range of options of light meals plus scones, sausage rolls, cakes and bakes! They also serve Ice creams from a separate counter which was amazing too! A great place to stop! ⭐️ Further visit & now second time of having the Rarebit & if I’m honest it had way too much mustard in it, very overpowering! Wouldn’t put me off visiting but wouldn’t choose this option in future. Mackerel salad a bit underwhelming, mackerel was good, new potatoes a bit hard and dressing on the strong side but still pleasant. Hoping it’s just a blip as it’s such a lovely venue!

Really lovely place to visit and a real asset to Felixstowe water front. The building itself is amazing (from a builder POV) and it’s been really well thought out and of good quality. Plenty of room inside so you’re not crammed in next to each other. The toilets are very accessible and mixed gender with individual cubicles. Very clean and fresh on our visit. Food was very good. Bit more expensive than elsewhere, but you definitely see that in the quality. So worth it. The staff overhead Polish from guests I was visiting with, so they made a point to come over and welcome them in the language which was a really lovely thing to do. In fact, all the staff were great. Very friendly, assertive and service was great. Also a perfect place to escape in the rain. Dogs were welcomed in.

Lovelly pyramid style cafe with inside and outside seating. Amazing breakfast, which might seem expensive at ÂŁ11.00 but it is all top quality ingredients and cooked with care. 2 Suffolk sausages, 2 thick slices of bacon, spicey hash brown, farmhouse style thick sliced bread. Egg with really orange yoke so probably free range. Black pudding. Could not fault it. Arrived very quickly. Great surroundings. Bright interior with green wall, or sit outside for the breeze and sea views. Watch the ships coming out of Felixstowe Port

Visited Felixstowe today from London and thought we would try SeaYou. We had large pot of tea, nice cake and a coffee for 7.50 which wasn't particularly expensive. Service ok too. However, we understand this is a family cafe, and we are animal lovers, but we were seated next to a family whose dog continuously barked really loudly in cafe, making it difficult for us to hear each other talk. Staff were chatting and laughing with them and nobody made any attempt to take the dog outside. Not considerate to other diners at all. As other reviewers have mentioned the 'trendy' gender neutral toilets may be the new thing, set in an almost open plan environment, but letting your kids play in this area for 20 minutes at least with no supervision is not everyone's idea of privacy. We were seated near the entrance to toilets and could hear them running around and laughing until their parents finally took them back to their table. Also agree with some other reviewers that owner replies are sometimes a bit defensive which is a shame as everyone entitled to their own opinion. Generally ok, but better places to eat and drink...

Our first time visiting and it did not disappoint. What a gem this place is. We stopped in for breakfast today. The cafe is clean and tidy, the staff were outstanding, with great service from the lady that took our order at the till. I had the SeaYou breakfast and my wife had the meat breakfast burrito and we each had a large cappuccino. The coffee was excellent and we didn’t have to wait too long for the food to come out. The food was hot and freshly cooked. The full breakfast was great, the toast was superb. A chunky slice of white, nicely roasted but it was still very soft inside. Freshly buttered. Lovely. I really enjoyed the breakfast and my wife really enjoyed the breakfast burrito. It looked great. I’ll be getting that next time. The cafe is fully accessible with access ramps for wheelchair/scooter users. As well as the varied menu, they had a delicious looking selection of cakes and other baked goods available to buy at the counter. This place is clearly popular and it’s easy to see why. We will be visiting again in the...

Having visited this venue previously we popped in today to pick up a couple of their cakes to takeaway. There was a long queue so we couldn't see what was on offer until we neared the till and came to order. We had waited approx 20 mins as the place was busy. When our turn came to order, I was surprised to be treated in a very curt and rude manner that takeaways should be ordered at the ice cream counter...there was no effort to serve me or provide any explanation as to how I would know what was on offer at the ice cream counter. Even after explaining I only wanted two cakes I was met with a firm refusal. No effort at all at customer service or understanding how long I had been queuing...This system cannot possibly work, I was then told to queue again at the ice cream counter to be served. Point to remember for people wanting to take food away ...how you can possibly choose your items without viewing what is on offer I don't know.... Definitely won't be returning after this episode of appalling...
