TABERNA SALTPETER TAPAS AT BEACH STREET
What a fantastic find! We went for a walk in Felixstowe and decided to get some lunch.
We had heard about the Beach Street container park retail and restaurant area and that there was a selection of restaurants to be found there.
My partner and I are both tapas fans so Taberna Saltpeter Tapas was definitely where we were going when we found it.
Absolutely great food, service and value. We had a selection of tapas all of which were really superb, all cooked fresh while we sat watching the windy weather outside.
Huge selection of Spanish wines available to drink there or takeaway (decent discounts for takeaways too).
I couldn't fault this great little place at all and will be going back for sure.
Highly recommended!

We walked around the first part which looks very slick and modern, but the older part still is reminiscent of the amusements and loses some of the polish of the entrance, such a shame. This could really be a destination of its own in Felixstowe but it needs to have more investment as it is neither one thing or another just yet. We had a drink from Hopsters and fried dumplings from the Viet Street Food Co. both were very enjoyable. A few more stores selling handcrafted items and beach essentials would really add...
