This is a nice park, wide open spaces for dog walks ( everyone who I had seen picked up after their dogs) there's a skateboard park in one corner and from what I could tell (I'm no skateboarder) the people on it seemed to be having fun. Theres a cafe in another corner next to the carpark with a good amount of spaces, just off the carpark there's some accesses to the waterfront and there's a couple of climbing/playing areas for the little ones. There is a nice place here, I think separate from Jester's, that does ice cream and light snacks on the weekend. Nice ice cream. There is plenty of car parking here so you should be able to find a space. It is a bit rocky so maybe don't bring something too low. They have some really old and interesting trees here, too.
