We arrived a few days ago very excited and expecting a great meal. We ordered Tuna Nicoise, a lobster and the sea bass. What we wanted and what we received was not even close to being nice. The sea bass was okish, it would have been better if the skin was crispy, it's pretty easy to do, but it wasnt and had to be left behind. The new potatoes weren't cooked properly either. The lobster was just terrible. It tasted nothing like the lobster I've had before, it was chewy and had a strange taste. The tuna nicoise was also terrible, the tuna was overcooked (it's supposed to be pink?? ) it was also tasteless and dry. Out of the starters the focaccia was stale but the dipping oil and olives were okay. I would be very surprised if the sea bass, lobster and tuna were cooked fresh. The portions were big though and the prices weren't bad.

We did say that the tuna wasnt good and it was taken off the bill.

We did want to complain about the rest of the meal but felt bad, however, we should have said something because the whole meal was just a massive disappointment.

The only plus to all of this was the waitress who was amazing, she is a real asset to the team.

I would also like to mention that staff should not smoke outside in front of the restaurant next to the customers, it doesnt look very professional.

All in all it was a very unpleasant meal. I dont find it acceptable that they have changed so much money for such poor quality food. We were really looking forward to our meal but feel so let down, our hard earned money has...

This is our first dinner of our trip to Norfolk and I’m glad that it was a great start. We all loved the scallops and the unique great taste of the pea puree was a big surprise! Lobsters were all cooked to perfect. Our server Aidan is a star! He was very attentive to our needs and his professional manner throughout the night made us feel like in a 5-star fine dinning restaurant. Will definitely recommend this restaurant and will come again in future.

This is a great location if you like boats as it is in the marina on Oulton Broad and because of this has good parking. The restaurant decor is really nice and the lady that served us was very friendly and helpful. The food though is to die for. My wife has steak and chips whilst I had the gammon steak and chips. Easily the best we have had, and the sticky toffe pudding and custard is just superb. I could not recommend this location highly enough.
