Lovely lake in Ellesmere. There's a nice linear walk that takes about 25 minutes along the side of the Mere and into a wooded area. You can do the return walk in under an hour. Facilities include a pub restaurant, ice-cream parlour, sculpture trail, children's play area, boat hire, fishing and toilets.
