Omg wot an amazing pub, we stayed in one local B&B over weekend, out walking came across this fantastic pub the vault like going into cavern down stairs in Liverpool 😱, wot an amazing place full of exciting memerbila inside, it's also set up lovely with all Xmas Dec's 🎄😱 sooo cozy and snug warm and friendly atmosphere, everyone talks to everyone even if you don't no them 😊 staff are amazing and the manger so friendly had fantastic chat with her, will defo be going back again a worthy place to go to if your staying over in the village 10/10 be seeing yous again soon sue mick from...

What a fantastic pub and full of retro, funky items. Go down the stairs into the Vaults/cellar, and you'll be amazed at what greets you...wow! Great relaxing and calm atmosphere with good beers and drinks. There is some food available, and maybe next time, I'll try the chef's burger. Stopped off in Ellesmere for a quick explore and were intrigued by the entrance and inviting sign so popped down the stairs. The inside is a mixture of old but smart furniture - tables & chairs, sofas, lots of mirrors. Shouldn't work but after my eyes adjusted I actually thought it was really quite smart. You are in a cellar so it does have a low light effect but it's not dark. Welcome and service were excellent and the ale was very good.
