Great for kids. 50% saving if you’ve visited the zoo in the last 5 days. Proof required. Onsite cafe serving simple food and drinks. Also vending machine located inside for quick snacks. Only paying for children is great! But playtime is limited to a strict 90minutes and you will be firmly requested to leave when this time is up. Toilets are difficult and have been lowered for little persons which is great but need to be checked / cleaned more often. - as the general overall condition could be cleaner. Party options and event hire available approx 30children max at avg.£10 per head.

We only visited as it was raining too hard to be out in at the zoo so took shelter here. This place is filthy!! Took my daughter and friend to the toddler session, played on a few of the toys and then went in the big play area. We then left within minutes! It had clearly not been cleaned in a very long time as there was a big build up of muck, dust, hair and old tissues between the vinyl covered foam pads. I told a member of staff how filthy it was and he said thanks! Have added a photo of some of it, the ball pool balls look like they’ve never been properly cleaned at all. Disappointing really, hopefully it won’t reflect badly on the zoo. As a qualified early years carer it’s disappointing that the owners find it acceptable to keep it open so dirty. I wonder if any of them have had a crawl about and done their due diligence to check the standards? I would like to know if they have.

We go to the zoo alot but today we had extra time to call into the play gym, it cost £10 for 5 kids which is not bad i suppose (its half price when you visit the zoo) i would never pay full price! When we entered there was only one dirty table, the girl behind the desk said she would get it cleaned, she made zero effort to do that. The gym is a good size and it has a football pitch. Lots of adults on the equipment which was unnecessary and my children were getting hit often from other horrid kids. My partner ordered from the cafe and was told they would bring it after half an hour i sent him back apparently they "forgot". It was also really cold! Alright for the kids running around but not so good for the parents having to sit around. Can't say we will be back in, we will stick to the small one in the cafe at the zoo entrance (£1)
