I had a very disappointing experience at the Starbucks inside Village Hotel. One of the staff members displayed extremely rude and unprofessional behavior, making me feel unwelcome from the moment I walked in. She was dismissive, unfriendly, and her attitude was shockingly unprofessional.
What made this experience even worse was the clear discrimination in her behavior. While she was polite to other customers, she was cold and unhelpful towards me, making me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Itâs unacceptable for any business, especially a well-known brand like Starbucks, to have staff who treat customers differently based on race or background.
I expected a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, but instead, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I hope the management takes this issue seriously and ensures proper training for their staff. Until then, I wonât be returning to this location and wouldnât recommend...
   Read moreMarch 2025 - upping my review to a 4 star as the coffee has been consistently good over the last few months. I'd love the highchairs to be moved (there is definitely room elsewhere) and a table put in the window instead. On a busy day the layout could be improved. Some days it's a 5 star and some days it's a 1 star so settling in the middle at 3 stars. The location is good and sitting on the terrace on a sunny day is lovely. Inside it's a big gloomy. How the coffee is made is completely haphazard, hence the 1 star some days and 5 star other days. We have had to ask for our coffees to be remade on more than one occasion either because they were cold or just not made properly. Also, please, please Starbucks stop using single use stirrers and plastic cups for a glass of water. What an absolute waste...
   Read moreStood there only person in the Que barista started filling up the machines dispute them looking a good bit full wasnât urgent and clearly seeing me and was looking towards me was there quite some time with him blanking me I get he was busy but was there a wile and no acknowledgement not so much as Iâll be with you soon. No customer service skills and when putting in an order day before got grunts and one word response from female staff members really cost noffing to be a little nice I walked away this time as he made me realise I donât like my coffee that bitter anyway.
