Churston Cove is a cove with a sand and shingle beach on the outskirts of Brixham, surrounded by cliffs and wooded hillsides. An entrance to Churston Woods is located at the back of the cove. There is a steep path leading down to the beach which also passes through Churston Woods. It is on the South West Coast Path.

Scenic cove tucked away from the bustle of Brixham harbour.
A relatively short walk along the coastal path from the harbour will bring you to both Fishcombe and Churston Cove. We decided to head to Churston as it was a little quieter than Fishcombe and only around a 5-10 walk further (the path was a bit steep though). Completely worth it as the views are stunning and the water is crystal clear! Perfect location for watching yachts and other boats pass by, as well as paddleboarding and a short dip in the sea.

A pretty cove, stony beach but when the tide is coming in it has a very gradual slope so it's good for children and dogs, which are allowed. It also seemed to have a resident grey seal you can swim with, so long as you don't get too close! Came across this lovely Cove whilst doing the coastal walk hence revisited and decided to spend a beach day and have a swim.
