The Brixham battery is staffed by very knowledable, friendly and enthusiastic volunteers who had past experience with various aspects of the exhibits. Read moreCame here today on my way back to Brixham via the coastal path it was tricky to find on my way there as the forest is huge between the beaches/coves at the bottom of the battery gardens I was met by volunteers at the door and they were all friendly, helpful, attentive, knowledgeable I wish I went earlier as there is tons of history to read and discover in the museums there The staff showed me around and explained further information in great detail They informed me of open days and events, definitely the best museum I have ever been to! Big shout out to Andy, Darren (I think? Bloke who greeted me outside the entrance and took my donation around 3pm today) and a few other staff who were based around the back of the museum towards the workshop- one volunteer even gave me a souvenir to take home thankyou very much for being so lovely and kind whilst I came, really enjoyed my visit! I would highly recommend there is something for everyone...
