This is a locally green space which is lovely to walk around for all people of all ages and is especially very popular all day long for dog lovers. There is a small planted wood in the middle of it planted for the Queens Golden Jubilee and therefore called Jubilee Wood. There is also a Rugby League pitch associated to the Rugby League club there who also have a club house and pavilion in the park. Due to the grass not being cut there is a huge dog poo problem now but I think that's more a reflection of the local population. The park has a decent enough children's play area that has been recently refurbished and the club house on the car park contains a bar that is often open in the evenings in addition to welcoming dog owners. Not all dogs are friendly there has been a few times my dog has been of lead and has gone to say hello to another dog but not all dogs are comfortable with this. She is very friendly and just wants to play but there is to many way she could easily escape onto very busy roads or get into a fight with a dog that isn't as friendly.
