"No dogs or children allowed at any time" this was next to the door not at the gate so surely I should be allowed to take my dog into the outside area but not in the pub.... that I understand but my dog is not allowed in the outside area at all? .... yet there is multiple kids coming in and out of this pub with there parents and I see people sat with dogs outside the pub all the time. (I live quite close). Its dependant on who's serving and they rules which is very inconsistent. We were still served our drinks but told our dog would not be able to come on the premises but I wasn'tallowed to take my drink of the premises. Read moreA typical local pubs wich gets busy at weekends, situated in Talbot Road heading towards layton just before the cemetery on the left. The drinks are reasonably prices and a good service. I usually go there when boxing is on it tends to bring all the amateurs boxers there as i believe the owner was a former professional boxer. The atmosphere was good a bit lively but you would expect that when there was a big boxing match. Overall i recommend it to watch...
