Bowling experience was great food was nice although the young female in the kitchen had a long pony tail no hair net multiple piercings in ears and face non of which were covered or replaced with plastic spacers that can be used for individuals with piercings...when this was mentioned I was wrongly informed that this was not against environmental health standards and there was no risk of foreign bodies entering my food ....gloves were not being used in preparation of different foods i.e meat / dairy increasing the risk of cross contamination also she was leaving the kitchen and returning to prep food without washing her hands....again I mentioned my concerns to the person serving I believe he was the manager his solution to this was to shut the kitchen door to block the customers view ...it is the customers right to see the kitchen if requested and by no means any solution I did try to point out that this was feed back and not a complaint in the hope they would at least deal with one of the issues but I was not taken seriously...this is a shame that the kitchen has let the place down as the facilities were adequate and reasonably priced for families to have fun. As none of my issues were dealt with not even an apology I have no other option than to report my findings to...

This place is absolutely brilliant for anything that a Hospitality/Entertainment venue should NOT be.
Definitely Scunthorpe Bowl is the place to roll if you want the worst Entertainment and Bowling Experience around in the local area.
5 star service. Well done keep up...
Read more9 of us visited xmas eve for family bowling. I prebooked online and requested disabled accessible lanes as my brother was coming, and he's severely disabled and wheelchair bound. The lanes weren't quite ready, so there was a short wait. Staff were friendly and helpful given it was so busy. The only reason I give the experience 3 stars, is that the lanes allocated were nowhere near the disabled ramp and there was a wooden bench at the top of the ramp, which had to be moved to get my brother in. There were also lots of pushchairs blocking the disability ramp and poorly thought out placement of furniture/arcade equipment/pillars, which made disabled access very difficult and stressful. This needs to be addressed, I feel. It seems like the online booking system works ok, but when somebody adds an extra note on the booking, to ensure the lanes are accessible it's like it wasn't even taken notice of. You have a fantastic venue, which could be very disabled friendly, but it just needs additional consideration. Not only is a bench on a ramp a fire risk, should a swift exit be required, it is also in breach of the equality act and needs to...
