My favourite beach. It is wide and the sand is soft, there is always plenty of space. The sea is calm and good for swimming, and warm in the summer. There are lifeguards with a protected area for swimmers and families. When the tide goes out the sandbanks are revealed giving shallow paddling and digging places. The car park is at Shore Road, but you need to arrive early to get a space as it is quite small. It is expensive but worth it as it is close to the beach. You can drive down and drop off right by the beach, where the disabled parking is. There are food and ice cream outlets here, and toilets. The promenade starts here and you can cycle all the way to Bournemouth and beyond...

A beautiful place all year round to see the ever changing seasons with the Purbeck Hills in the background to the SW and the sweeping beachscape of Poole Bay to the E. During the peak season it is very busy so parking nearby is difficult after 09:00. Better to walk or cycle to avoid the hassle of queues to get anywhere. The beaches are clean and sandy, the water a refreshing delight on a hot day and the scenery idyllic. Food, drinks and ices are available at various points, but obvs popular, so consider bringing your own and remember to leave...

Great place to have a walk along the beach and to sit and enjoy the weather.

Not keen on people using the cafe toilets to change and make a mess in there. Staff need to more vigilant and strict.

Very clean, but windy beach. Can see amazing boats/ships sailing past. Plenty of space to sit freely and have a bit of privacy.

Parking is a nightmare. Finding a space early in the day is easy. But leaving is a nightmare. Took us 30 minutes to get out the car park. Best to leave earlier or later than the others or park on the pay and display...

The particular part of the coastline is spectacular. Stunning place and even on what should have been a full house on the seaside, there was ample enough space to not feel like another number. There was a convenient tesco nearby for snacks and drinks during the day with a conveniently located toilet facility. We had dinner at a pizza in town called Baffi Canford Cliffs which is amazing. Both the pasta and pizza here are very good. Ice been to Sandbanks several times in the past and it hasn't changed one bit. A permanent A plus for this beach.

**Lovely Beach Day – Just Watch the Parking!** Really nice beach with a great atmosphere. Plenty of places nearby for drinks and ice cream, which made the day super enjoyable and convenient. It’s a lovely spot to relax, swim, or just enjoy the view. The only downside is the parking! prices are extortionate. If you're driving, make sure to arrive early to try and grab one of the limited free spots nearby. That said, once you’re there, it’s definitely worth it!
