The volunteers have worked tirelessly since 2014 to bring you this unique opportunity to see how London Transport operated both electric and steam trains through the Epping area in 1949.
The signal cabin has been fully restored with a 47 lever frame which operates virtual trains through the area, experience what it's like to be a Signalman by working the frame.
Locomotive L11 is a unique example of upcycling, not a word used back in the 60s. Go inside and operate the controls of this Standard Stock train, originally a passenger train on the Piccadilly Line.

He was absolutley amazing with our two boys and so passionate and enthusiastic about the signals. Our eldest is really into signals and so the signal cabin at the end was definitely the highlight.
