Duke of Wellington — Restaurant in Epping Forest

Visited here one of my old locals to watch a World cup match, needed more bar staff on duty as we waited what was almost 10 minutes to get served.. Beer was good though and nice and cold. The 2 TV's need updating to a more accessible location so everyone can get a good veiw, as we were either blocked from seeing the whole screen by walls or columms, either that or other drinkers would complain you were in their way if you tried to gain any sort of vantage point.. Failing that a good atmosphere was generated.

So in conclusion: More bar staff when events are on. Move TV's to more accessible...

We started here, wifey & I, on our pub crawl along Epping high St. Wifey had a double gin & lemonade & I had a Coors light as they didn't have a real ale. The round of drinks was £11.40 which is about the going rate. The whole pub could do with the inside being decorated as it is very old & run down. The locals didn't seem to mind as they were coming & going around 17:30 & enjoying...
