We went yesterday. Sunday 28th May. Its surprisingly good for how small it is. They pack a lot in a small space. A couple of the rides go faster and higher than you might think too. The rides are 2 tokens each, 3 on the dodgems, I think that was per car. I think it was 26 tokens we got for £20 as my boys didn't want to go on everything. Their website shows you how many rides/what they've got so you can work out how many you'll need.
It's cash only to buy tokens and one atm in the park was broken. There was another one that charges for withdrawals inside the arcade but we went to the newsagents over the road and got cashback for free. Think it was a Premier.
They sell hot dogs, ice cream, candy floss, doughnuts and drinks. There's 2 arcades joined onto the park and one further down. We got ice cream in the arcade and paid by card. Lots of flavours... rum raisin, mint choc chip etc. Lots of choice of arcade games and you can win tickets to exchange for prizes.
The park has toilets and the queues didn't take forever even though it was very busy. The rides also run for a decent amount of time.
Dogs are allowed in the park, not sure about the arcade but I did see one in there.
Lots of food places around. Fish and chips, tea rooms, charity shops, pub, souvenir shops with inflatables.
The beach behind it is vast with sand. It always seems mega windy though. I got cold and we went back to the village.
Parking was a bit of a nightmare, there's a car park just before and just after it but both were packed. People were parked on the grass verge and down the centre of the car park. It was certainly interesting.
All in all.. it's a lovely day out. Don't forget your...
Read moreWe come here only when we visit my in-laws in Kent. It works only weekends unless it is school holiday and even on weekends it may be a bit depressing because very often it is half empty. It is run down and the staff are all quite young which could be a cause of concern (i.e. are they really that well trained to take care of the safety of kids?). But my kids love the place, it is the first place that comes on the requests list when we visit the grandparents and that is the most important thing. In the grander scheme of things, it is reasonably priced (try going to Winter Wonderland in London for example - one needs to save the whole year to afford that one!) , manageable (in terms of size and variety of activities) and it offers an indoors area in case of (sudden) rain. We did come once when the website said they were open - and they were closed - which then gave us an opportunity to have a lovely walk with the kids along...
Read moreWe had a lovely family afternoon my granddaughter enjoyed the many rides on offer ,it got the 👎because they wouldn't except credit card payments for the ride tokens, only cash so be warned to take a wad with you..5tokens for£5 -12 tokens for £10 quite a few of the rides are 2 tokens each so be mindful of this ,the biggest let down are the toilets discusting little hut ,it's about time health and safety have not insisted on proper built toilets and I cannot understand with all the money they taking (especially today and throughout summer!)why proper sanitary facility's are still not provided.its great this amusement park have survived the pandemic and I no it's been tough on them but could so be improved by better facility's. Can't blame the pandemic for this the park has been there for many a year so come on better sanitary conditions definitely in need of a update !! We did enjoy our family afternoon with the...
