I was on a bike ride and passing and hungry so I decided to pop in. I tried their salmon on bloomer bread from their specials, I didn't really analyse it too much, I just took a guess and ordered it. It came out quick, I started eating it and was very impressed. It was delicious. Even the salad and the cherry tomatoes with it were the best I've had. The service was good. I was served promptly and politely. I was also able to leave my bike outside and keep an eye on it from the window, which is important to me. All in all, a lovely food stop! I would not hesitate to recommend the place.

The Coffee Lounge was recommended to me by my partner's mother; me and said partner headed over there for a late lunch. We messaged on Facebook the day before to reserve a table, and it was ready for us when we arrived. The food was gorgeous, and the atmosphere was cosy and comfortable. Although prices were a little more than I anticipated, I felt they were absolutely justified when I realised the quality of the food. Would recommend to all, but please book in advance!

A great place for coffee, cake or a snack. We had coffee with fruit loaf toasted...it was a very generous portion and the little addition of blueberries was a nice touch. Will return to try the cakes as they looked yummy. Noticed people enjoying a cooked breakfast so plenty of options. Friendly staff, nice clean loos too. Car park nearby and a short distance to beach. Cash preferred.

**in response to the rather unprofessional attitude demonstrated in the reply to my review: Response to the reply from the owner: (Read initial review first- scroll down below; and then scroll up to read this) I am absolutely stunned to receive such a rude and unprofessional response to my review of the cafe. This only serves to validate how we were treated and spoken to by staff on the day we visited the cafe. My comment on people booking ahead to avoid disappointment is met with a hugely defensive response (including capital letters (?!)) which is completely unnecessary. This is an honest account of what happened to us, and the fact that you embellish what happened is frankly shocking. As a small business, you should not be exempt from recieving criticism if you treat customers badly. Also as a small business you would think that your customers are valued and service is golden. And the fact you have to use the platinum jubilee to mask bad service speaks for itself. Thus after my rather placid initial review, I revise my advise: anyone who may be visiting during a busy period should be prepared to book aheas-and- for rude and abrasive behaviour from staff. For any customers hoping to leave a review- if you dare to honestly share your experience, please also be prepared to receive an extremely defensive and review from the owner.

Initial review: I was left really unimpressed, got there 15mins before they open "they said there not open yet " so I did abit of time wasting ,then went back at 10,just to be told there fully booked and there's no spaces left.its a shame really hear lots of good reviews of the place ,maybe book at table so Ur not left...

Been twice, both on a Sunday. I saved my review for the second time as like to give a couple of goes to see what its like. Everything is cooked fresh and tasty, good quality coffee and the staff mean well, it's just a bit slow.

Waited 35 minutes for Coffee , a sausage sandwich and a croissant between the two of us. It all came together which in one hand was good, but also meant we were waiting there that whole time with nothing. Probably would have had another coffee in that time if the original had come out straight away.

It's alright. Dog friendly and close to the beach. However saw a few people come, order, then cancel due to the delay so if you're happy to wait then this is a good place if you're in a hurry, maybe...

Had my eye on this cafe for a while and finally decided to go today with my girlfriend and what can I say its was one of the nicest breakfasts I've had in a while.

I had the set breakfast for £6.50 and my girlfriend had the vegetarian breakfast for the same price and even she says that it's one of the best she has had in a while, it had great presentation and the taste was all there I will say what I said to the lady at the counter it was beautiful.

The cafe itself was really lovely it's a nice small cafe and really peaceful I would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone that wants a lovely breakfast for a amazing price and looking at the menu I will definitely be going back to try...
