The park has a great mix of areas, including a self-weighted adult gym, wide pathways, tennis court, soccer pitch, and kids' play area. The kids' play area has various jungle-gyms for all ages. We enjoyed an impromptu picnic on a bench, although there are picnic tables. There is a toilet block. The park river is in a terrible state, all overgrown and a tipping place for rubbish.The pond is covered in green algae. Thankfully access isn't allowed as it would be lethal if a dog or person fell in. The Tranquility garden is full of massive weeds, you can spot the odd flower trying to poke its head through the ragweed. Read moreA park with plenty of facilities and easy walks suitable for all mobility levels. Unfortunately, it is spoilt by the high volume plastic litter in the pond. The life-saving ring at the pond has also been vandalised and chucked into the pond. Reported both facts to the council in the hope they will remedy this.
