Read moreWe came on 24th of August, to watch the Womens Rugby World Cup Brazil debut. Me, my wife, my brazilian "little sister". Unfortunately i have to have easy access seats, but due to a mix up our seats weren't as easy to work around.
The Security Staff especially Lead Poppy and Kate, were fantastic though, they helped us out, throughout the whole day, i cant list how much they helped us and others. They did so much.
Even when a World Rugby Employee tried to get paying disability women from seats, it was awful. Poppy sorted it out very professionally as before he had started his complaints, which i found to be very very unprofessional from a member of World Rugby talking down to me, Poppy and others. Zero professionalisation, customer service, disability understanding from the young gentleman.
Luckily we were moved closer to friends of ours, who were there for the game and Poppy and Kate made that all happen. We must of been some of the last to leave due to difficulties walking, but Poppy just from start to finish was so professional, customer service 100% for young fans, to older, she truly was a leader of that section. Also with support from Kate and other great security staff around the tunnel section, our day couldnt be better.
Sad that a member of World Rugby nearly ruined it for several Women, families, friends in one particular section feel uncomfortable. He wanted to move them, even though they had paid and were well in there right to be there. Really ashamed of his mannerisms and lack of social skills, i was not bothered by it, but i felt for easily 30 people who were made to feel insignificant due to them needing easy access seats. I didnt want to bring it up, but for the others, im sorry its needs to be said. In the end, i think he wanted to sit the non playing players there, but they never did, so he upset alot of people for nothing.
Thanks Northampton Saints Security's Teams Poppy and Kate, and many...
Read moreWent to watch Northampton VS Bath, great game of rugby with the Saints fans making a great and horrible atmosphere at the same time. The chants were sung loud and proud by the Saints supporters however as soon as the referee made a bad decision the fans booed and whistled. A penalty was given to Bath for a decision the Saints fans didn’t agree with, so they booed and whistled even when Finn Russell was taking a kick for Bath and the Saints guy who is on the speakers did not say anything about it. I’ve been to the Saints many times and this is the first time they didn’t tell anyone off. One time someone didn’t respect the kicker and got told off. Utter nonsense, huge disgrace and disrespectful upon both the club, stadium and rugby as a sport. Seemed more like a football match via the supporters. The food also was a bit bad and the description was kind of a lie. At half time I went to get some food and saw ‘BBQ Pulled Pork’ with ‘Grilled Cheese’ in the description. As soon as I asked the woman serving food she was really confused and said to her what it said and she replied by saying that they serve pulled pork or chilli with wedges. Not very good service and fans for the team who won the...
