The Simple Greek — Restaurant in Great Britain

Right, so over a week ago I decided to take a punt on this little shop I’ve driven past many times and never tried. In all honesty, I thought it would be another kebab shop. Three times in just over one week, we’ve ordered via Just Eat multiple dishes to test that the first delivery wasn’t a fluke. Let me tell you, it wasn’t!!! Three incredibly speedy deliveries, food hot, delightfully delicious, amazing value for money - you wouldn’t be able to make this food for the same price at home. For anyone in doubt, it’s like having an immense bbq with lovely fresh salad, crispy fries and flat breads. The sauce is addictive in the skewers. Ordered via Uber Eats, the driver took over an hour after collection then marked the delivery as delivered when it was not. Did not even attempt to deliver the food ! Rang uber eats who were no help so called direct to the Simple Greek Restaurant - although this was not at any fault of theirs (they had made and passed the food the the driver for it to not be delivered) They went above and beyond and remade the order and delivered in their own vehicle directly to us within 20 minutes at their own cost. When we finally got the food it was absolutely delicious and worth the wait. Taste just as good as the Gyros in Greece! Highly recommend just order via just eat or deliveroo or collect direct !!!...

Authentic Greek food, every time me and my greek husband misses greek food this shop is a must go to. Last night we ordered mix grill and gyro wrap, it was a huge portion. As an Asian, I couldn’t finish it myself. The loukaniko is amazing, i always trade kebab for loukaniko in mix grill. Shop has decent chairs and tables to dine in. Very Greek atmosphere/interior. The staff are polite and friendly, not only because my husband is greek i saw it to everybody that comes in the shop. I just wish they have my favourite pork kontosouvli and pilaf rice.
