Taste before you pay. Had a bad pint tonight. Love Phipps, however what was offered tonight was watery. Took two sips, found it to be bad, needed to request something else because of that, but they point blank refused. Apparently someone else complained about the same beer, and yet my complaint wasn't worth their consideration "I can't keep giving free pints away," nor can I keep spending money on bad beer. I couldn't finish it, it was so awful, and just left it on the bar, and walked out. I paid £4 I'll never get back for 2 sips of rubbish, and won't return. In any case, caution advised - taste...

We were here for the Rugby World Cup women's 2025. This is a delightful place. Ther lovely atmosphere and welcoming staff made our experience quite enjoyable. Locals clearly love this place, as evidenced by a couple of fellows standing at the bar immediatelyupon the doors opening! The Foundry Arms is a short walking distance to the Franklin Gardens Stadium. It was early and we each had a bacon roll. For some reason we had to pay cash for the rolls, each we did not have. Our new pals bought the rolls for us!!! So we bought them a couple of pints and were able to use the credit...
