My son is 3, so have taken him early each time on his bike to avoid crowds. Unfortunately I have experienced localism this morning from a hypocrite skater who claims to teach children. Unfortunately he decided to skate in an area near my son and made us feel uncomfortable for being there. As far as I was aware, it is a public park and everyone has a right to start riding at some point. We left feeling that this was an elitist part of the park. I think if older users also want to be left alone to smoke grass, drink booze or play music in the skate area, then they should tolerate others. Sometimes people who think they are cool, in reality just aren’t. I wouldn’t pay this guy a dime to teach my child, seemed like he was too much into looking rad instead of being rad.
