Subway — Restaurant in England

So back on 23/10/20, I had an issue with my Subway app on Android messing up & selecting this store for collection, rather than my local store in Tiverton.

After the order had gone through, I quickly phoned the store the let them know what had happened & asked if they could cancel the order. I was told no, I would have to contact customer service. I did this via Twitter & was given a reference number & I was told that the store owner would contact me regarding the issue.

I didn't hear anything from the owner, so I phoned up the store 07/11/20 & spoke to the manger. I was asked by the manager to email the evidence of my conversation with the customer service via Twitter, the reference number, my order email & my bank details (which I assume for the refund). I never heard anything from anyone or no sign of a refund either.

After all my issues, I would seriously avoid this particular Subway as it would appear they're looking...

This Subway is located within a garage just off junction 25 of the M5 as you head into Taunton. I popped in to get a tuna sub for lunch, there was no queue and I did see the member of staff cleaning the tables for another customer while I was there.

I was very disappointed with the product that I purchased when I got it home and unwrapped it. I had asked for a simple tuna mayonnaise footlong (half for lunch half for later) but there was such little amount of tuna, what I basically got was a footlong bread roll with tuna flavouring.

I appreciate times are hard, but there was plenty of tuna in the pot, surely a little more could have found it's way onto the "ice-cream" scoop and...

The service was nice and friendly, the place clean if small. There were enough seats for 8 people in total. The view wasn't what you'd call inspiring, unless you liked staring at either a damp dual carriageway or a petrol station forecourt. The food won't make your soul soar to a gastronomic level of heaven, but hey, that's because it's a subway. The best you're going to get from there is to keep your body and soul together...
