After my failed attempt to land my private jet, an Airbus A380 private jet edition, at Stoke airport and almost crashing, I attempted to land my A380 at Rochester airport. The landing was very bad. I never knew that my private jet is not supposed to land on grass runways. The wheels sunk in the grass and the plane almost flipped over. I only just managed to keep control and stop the plane in time. I completely ruined my brakes and hit a few of the planes here as I landed. My insurance will cover this, oh wait, the insurance company cancelled my policy after they found out that I was attempting to land over at Stoke airport. After landing everyone stared at my A380 in shock. They must have been shocked at how much money I have to afford it. And after this is where things went wrong. I was told that I could not take off my A380. The runway is too short. Then I found out that I couldn't tow it to a different airport as the local roads are not wide enough to accommodate it. My A380 is now trapped at Rochester airport. But things got even worse, I bribed all the staff here to go home early and not watch what I was doing. I then attempted to take off my A380 and it turns out they were correct, the run way wasn't long enough. My plane crashed through the end of the runway and destroyed all of the houses there, but those houses don't matter as they are not rich people...
Read moreA great airfield close to London, with the easiest of access from the A229 exit off the M2. Incredibly friendly with a fantastic atmosphere, excellent café and plenty of safe viewing areas for family and friends. It's an oasis of charm and as you can probably tell, I quite simply love the place and happily spend a day there whether or not I'm actually flying. There's tons for the interested aviator to see and do. Don't miss the aircraft preservation workshop, but do check its public opening hours before setting out, if that is the main reason you're going to visit. I hope you enjoy the airfield and its facilities as much as I do. Thanks for reading...

Thank you to all the guys, from the airport, the sky school and National Grid, who showed us around...
