The Avenue Cafe — Restaurant in England

Smashing cafe, the cafe changed hands fairly recently and the new owner has given the dining area a refit so it looks much better and is more comfortable. The menu is vast, from set breakfasts to lunches and dinners with a number of specials too! There are sandwiches, baguettes and Panini's with a wide range of fillings.I had a sausage baguette ( see photo ) and a milky coffee which cost around £7. The young lady who was waitressing was friendly and had a great rapport with customers. There is a customer toilets. There are vegetarian options You can park outside free of charge for a limited time but more than enough to eat a meal. Had breakfast again today 15/05/25. The Avenue Cafe is without doubt the best cafe in the area. The team make you feel really welcome, the food is great and the food is cooked speedily and to high quality. I’d highly recommend their MIDI Breakfast, however all their food is lovely. They are happy to make substitutions if you can’t eat certain foods, and the quality of the food is excellent. Prices are really reasonable too!

Me and my other half are working night so after work we thought it wood be nice having breakfast on the way home. We stopped at this cafe, the shutters were half way up, on the website and the door said it open since 8 o’clock in the morning. It was already 5 past 8, someone shut the shutters on us, with us waiting in front of the caffe. Verry rude and...
