I am a salvationist and live near Wemyess bay. I was told of this fantastic shop hence my visit. Wow! What a let down. A massive place full of some truly nice pieces of furniture and ornaments nicely placed, but on the whole the place looked a dump. There are hundreds of unopened black bin bags full of donations crammed and piled up at the back in full view of the public. Staff are hard pushed to sort through everything, and in places toys, clothes etc are just piling up so untidy, The clothes racks sadly are so drab, and in som3 cases smelling of BO obviously not cleaned . I am disabled and came with my rollator, which I found I could not get into some of the designated aisles . The whole thing just was so sad looking and just a dumping ground, the facilities are there, close for one day and have @ massive facelift, section off the bags of donations and partition off the clothing area. Make the place more inviting, even to hide the smell a possible few candles safely burning. So very sorry to be so brutal, but a fantastic opportunity going to waste bringing in donations yes but could be so much better. A visit to the heart foundation charity shop would give you food for thought, much better cared for, even an old guy polishing the furniture etc, but better maintained...
