California Cliffs Adventure Playground — Attraction in Great Yarmouth

We booked 3 caravans - the criteria was Norfolk Coast, close to a train line & walking to a beach which was met. When I arrived after a journey down from W.Yorkshire a swimming attendent was on the desk who couldn't help & stood giggling when asked anything so I stood for a good 20 minutes until someone came from the back office. That set the scene. One of the caravans was so bad- broken oven & dirty. Fortunately Karen came to the rescue and my parents were transferred the following day to something equating to what was paid. When my auntie arrived her caravan was not much better the seats had a strong sweaty smell and grubby. We are used to staying at other caravan sites such as White Cross Bay in the Lakes where there is more space between caravan, verandas & picnic tables. There was nothing like this. The caravans were very close together our bedroom practically adjacent to someones sitting room and we could hear them. Then they started plonking caravans on the roads making it extremely difficult to walk and drive round and unnecessary just bad organisation. Having said this my husband needed some help with a bike lock and the security men - Ashley & Carl were really helpful. I think with a bit better managment / cleaning this could be a good site as it is close to the beach but the get them here & pack them in mentality means we won't come again as felt we have been to nicer sites during school holidays for...

Excellent holiday park and facilities. The evening entertainment is amazing. All the crew are fantastic and Joe really knows how to hold the audience. Kids and adults alike were totally in tune with him. Would recommend...
