Scratby Bakery Ltd — Restaurant in Great Yarmouth

This was absolutely amazing, what a lovely hidden gem! We where staying at summerfields parkdean which is a 5/10 minute walk, and I'm pretty sure we have only rebooked due to this bakery lol. The hot breakfast rolls where delicious, the sausages where tasty and the bacon perfectly cooked and these where filled up aswell. Also made this a meal deal with a hot drink. The cakes where absolutely delicious as well, really enjoyed the synthetic cream iced buns! There are no tables inside (that i could see) but they have plenty of benches outside with big bowls of water for the dogs. There was a que each time we went, but it went down really quickly! The waiting time for the sausage and bacon rolls (we ordered 3) was only about 4 minutes. They have lots of delicious food in here and even though It was busy, the staff where really lovely and calm and very patient. Thank you so much, look forward to coming...

Was told about this wonderful bakery and how good it was , myself and other half decided to give it a go on our last day of our lovely weekend, we decided to go for the bacon bap and sausage bap , well what can I say , 2 sausages that were very hard to bit into as the sausages felt like they had sat around for ever , disappointed bacon bap 1 and half bits of bacon more bap than anything totally waste of time. We also purchased 2 fruit scones jam and cream , they were hard dry and to much much fruit…. All in all very disappointed and first and last time...

Food was excellent, both sweet and savoury. The service was friendly and warm and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be going back if we're ever in Scratby again.

To anyone considering popping in - I specifically recommend the pork carvery roll and the yumyums, but anything would be equally as tasty.
