Always loved this place so much ❤️ my mum and dad used to take me and my little brother as kids and we used to make a full day out of it on the beach, getting the train and going on the rides. I could picture the faces of all the shop keepers and the man who made the doughnuts in so much detail. My dad passed away when I was 10 but I still visit sometimes to be with the memory of him as he used to touch the sea water and say hi to his parents who were “buried at sea” as he used to tell me. I visited last Sunday with some friends to get a sort of blessing as my graduation is in two weeks and I only wish he was here to see it. The rides were all closed and the shops as it was a Sunday, but we were really pleased to see the cafe and arcades open so we could still have a bit of fun while there and I could walk round and talk about all the memories of my dad and family with my friends. The arcades were great and staff really helpful, even if the day ended with many raw emotions of me stood on the beach hugging my friends crying wishing my dad had met them and them saying how proud he’d be of me. Highly recommend this place with all my heart and so glad to see that Covid hasn’t taken it away like so many other good businesses. Will definitely continue to visit and take my little brother back and share on older memories with him as he was only 5 and doesn’t have as many memories with dad as me. Although we have a few pictures of us on the dragon ride and gifts from the shops and pictures on the train from when we were little. Lovely place to visit and I only recently found out about some of the longer history of the beach too, plus the special community only makes it more powerful. Hope to visit much more when I’m moved...

Kids loved the rides here and would five 5 stars for them being happy but the big downfall was we decided to buy them something from the cafe. My friend ordered first then me for my children. As long as you want chips it should be ok but was disfusting. I ordered after my friend and ordered a cup of tea too. The tea was being made after he took another order then I saw my order come out rather quick and he was looking for our table so maybe a different system be used so food doesn't have to travel around everyone else first . I bit into sausage and chips that were nearly luke warm and my buttered roll had a slight scrape of cheap margarine on a tiny piece of the bottom part of roll so may aswell just had a roll. Took the food back to staff who did apologise and said they'd replace the sausage and chips but not put any more butter in the roll. I put mushy peas in roll to soften it up , but into another piece of the sausage and chips and yet again were were still not hotncinsidering they had literally just replaced them. Total waste of money spent there! . We left so the kids could go on rides and had to take them elsewhere for food later. There is another cafe that does Jacket potatoes and sandwiches further on down and the staff in there were lovely , wish we had gone in there first bit lesson learned for next time the kids want...

Had the most amazing time seeing Father Christmas, the amount of love and effort put into this winter wonderland is unmatched! I have been going to these sorts of things every year for 10 years now and i can safely say this is by far the best Christmas experience me and my children have ever had; so good in fact i was compelled to actually write a review for once because everyone needs to know about this place. Every single detail was perfect, from the decorations to our wonderful personal elf Giles, my children were devastated when he had to leave us but were instantly reconciled by going in to see Father Christmas which was definitely the highlight of our day because he was absolutely fantastic, easily the best santa ive ever taken my boys to see, although my youngest now insists i have to cook a lesanga on Christmas eve because "thats what santa said he wants"(so thank you very much for that). I couldn't recommend the entire experience enough, truly amazing! I like to be fair so If i had to pick one negative it would only be the lack of soundproofing in santas house because at some times i could hear noises from both sides of us but at the end of the day that was just the sound of other people enjoying themselves so it didn't bother me at all but the fact thats the only criticism i can think of says...

Took the family here early March, it was £15 for wrist bands for the whole day. We arrived just after 11am and the four older kids were on the rides until 5pm (later opening times in April I believe). Only stopping for lunch at the on site fish and chip shop, which we ate in as it was cold. Given the time of year there was no queues and some they stayed on to ride multiple times. Arcades and slot machines for those who like that sort of thing. Park has two rollercoasters, log flume (currently being refurbished). Dodgems and many more rides. Given then fact of not having to queue it was a good value for money day out and kept the kids entertained. Also has toilets, other food and drink outlets, disabled and baby changing facilities, souvenir shop. Free parking right by the beach

I did not expect too much of this place but fortunately it proved me wrong. Easy access from M27, and several parking option from £2.50 for a full day nearby. Most of the rides were suitable for my 5years old daughter, many she could go on her own. There is a good deal on tokens, 50 for £15 or a wristband for £15 that allows unlimited rides. All rides are in good shape. Not too crowded, you don't have to queue for minutes waiting for your turn. The indoor amusement park is fine, typical British park with lots of machines. The crane is really weak, do not bother wasting your money. I did. The indoor play for £4 per child is OK, expected a bit more. There is a wimpy on site too. Overall, we had a great day out and would recommend it.

Funland is a great little amusement park. There are rides for all ages & tastes & the value for money is second to none. The choice of food outlets, is simply brilliant, with anything from a sandwich to a panini, to cheesy chops, a jacket potato, fish & chips, & burgers etc. You can also grab a cooked breakfast here too. The staff are all extremely polite & attentive & make you feel genuinely welcome. There's also a fantastic car park, that upon presentation of your ticket at the cafe, will entitle you to a free hot drink or a small ice cream. I had a great time with my son, and after purchasing 2 unlimited ride wrist bands (£14 each half term deal), we notched up 42 rides in 5 hours. An easy 10/10 score all round!
