My first visit (10.03) for Mother's Day. I had wanted to come for ages. Daughter (18) decided upon here for taking me out for Mother's Day brunch! We were lucky to get a table! Lovely friendly welcome and every staff member - without exception - were smiling, helpful, chatty and lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. My daughter is autistic and took a little while to figure out the new surroundings, menu etc. Probably as there's so much CHOICE! It couldn't be better for me as severely gluten intolerant. We started with drinks - Kinder Bueno Frappe for my daughter, Coco loco smoothie for me. Delicious 😋. Then I had gluten free Eggs Benedict (came labelled) and D had a mini egg cookie pie. I enjoyed mine immensely. I had a very good flat white and a piece of lime and coconut cake, that was so soft and moist I could hardly believe it WAS gluten free! It was a lovely lovely treat and I can't wait...

What a disappointing experience. After reading all the great reviews, I was really expecting better service. We were only staying for one night in Hayling island and we wanted some good breakfast in the morning, so I booked ahead of time, as I know some places now you can only do reservations, so I made sure I made a booking ahead of time. When we arrived at our reservation time, we were told the cafe was full and we would have to wait an indefinite amount of time before a table became available! I told the girl who greeted us at the door that we had made a reservation, but she kept on repeating that they are full and couldn't accommodate us. This is terrible customer service and could have been so easily avoided! Madhatters, please tell your guests who book ahead that there is no guarentee of seating if you book ahead, don't lie to your customers. You clearly don't want...

Tucked just round the corner from the arcade this cafe offers an INCREDIBLE selection of breakfasts , lunches and afternoon tea!

Serving a full gluten free menu and vegan menu too.

Honestly made my birthday 1000x more special being able to order gluten and dairy free pancakes for the first time in 5 years!!!

An actual LARGE coffee when you order one, got right through to the last sip.

Superbly friendly, welcoming and understanding staff!

Little outside area for when the sun's out. Booking taken for tables of 6 only so give yourself enough time in the summer months.

Also beautiful selection of little gifts available for purchase too.
